thrillsoft 0
I would be interested in hearing your opinions on how you rate the competition at the Full Contact Poker games/tournaments vs. Party, Paradise, FullTilt, etc...I've mostly just played Party and InterPoker in the past and a little bit at FullTilt (tourney's mostly) and it seems like in the ring games anyways, that competition at Full Contact Poker site is quite a bit better.Playing $1/$2 Limit HE, I can't seem to find a 10-handed table with a view flop percentage above the low 30's. Using Poker tracker, I see that the the table averages (excluding my statistics) for VP$IP for just about any table I play is in the 17%-19% range. I've actually been doing very well and have cashed out 4 times this month, but some days it is quite a grind and I've even lost a few dollars (less than $20) on a couple of sessions. At Party and some other sites, the play at these levels seems to be MUCH looser and I can win some big pots quite often. Here it seems that in order to make any money, I have to simply take advantage of position and my opponents' "rockiness" to bluff at some flops and take down a lot of a little pots since I almost never have a huge hand to play a huge pot or if I do have a big hand, these rocks give me no action.Has anyone else had this experience? How would you rate the competition at the various sites that you play?

thrillsoft 0
limit is for donkeys.I'll agree. I'm in the mode lately of wanting to play donkeys. After a building my BR up to about 3K over a few weeks playing NL, in the span of about 10 hands I took several horrendous beats (getting it all in as at least a 10-1 favorite and sometimes a 44-1 favorite) and losing. I went on major tilt and donked off the rest of my bankroll. I was going to take a break for a while, but noticed when going on FullContactPoker to play one of the Protege Freerolls that I had about $3 in my bonus account that I had earned so I put it on the micro limit table and won it up to about $60 then moved to $.25/$.50 (still micro) and won it up to about $300 and then moved up to $1/$2 and am now playing that to build up a bankroll again as well as take some cash out to play at the other sites too. That's not exactly the point of this thread though. I was curious as to how you "experts" rate the competition at the various sites. Where do you think the "easiest" games are at the various levels and where the "toughest" ones are? RayPowers 0
Party is way looser yes. FCP seems to have some tight players, but you seem to always be able to find one or two total fish per table, so its mainly a matter of isolating them.Ray
speedz99 145
You won't find anything easier than Party for low limit he.
Royal_Tour 0
MTT's at FCP are just as donktastic as anywhere else.although i've found the newest craze to be Raising from MP with 6,7 or 5,8 and also calling any re-raises preflop then actuallly hitting the flop and winning.3-6 and 5-10 at FCP is soft like butter, and smooth like a shower. TheBigB11 0
I play the high no-limit games. I am up 39k in the past month. People call all-in with top pair weak kicker. On the other hand there are some very skilled players up there also. You just have to figure out which ones are which. I like to go after the people that sit with the table minimum and go all-in on any Ace preflop. I have never played the low limit games, so I don't know what the skill level is there. There are donkeys everywhere on the internet sites and not just the low limit and that is my experience. I did make 39k last month, but that does not happen all the time. I just had a string of cards. I use to play on other sites, but never had this much success. I have lost 6k in a month before. Sorry If I bother you with this post. I am obviously new to here and just started looking around. I will probably ramble on with other posts as well.
BigEasy6 0
I have found the most success at Bodog and FCP. I do not play limit. I find it boring. I have had more consistent results at 2-4 vs .50-1 or 1-2. The $50 Long Kiss Goodnight tourney is great. FCP does have some better players. However, there are still poorer players at every level. Watch when Daniel plays 50-100NL and you will see all kinds of odd play.
