CardWarfare 4
I may not have been here for the "good ol' days" of FCP, but as with all aspects of life, things change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but most cases it depends on how you look at it. For example, even though General is a wasteland these days, I feel as if Off Topic has grown because of it. There are plenty of good threads and good discussions but what I feel is most enjoyable about OT is that discussions don't need to be earth shattering and imperative. They can just be the community hanging out and chatting it up. I didn't quite get that at first, but now that I do, I've grown to love it here. I think the other benefit of the site growing is that there are more contributions to the strat sections. Sure, people post some terribly played hands, but the fact of the matter is, the more information you are presented with, the more you can take from it, even if it is picking apart some rookie's misplayed aces.Overall I have to say I don't think the site is going downhill. Then again, I haven't been active here for that long, so I can see why there would be differing opinions. The little Army/OTC feud was pretty stupid, but it seems to have calmed down, and OT has gone back to being more relaxed. "All things change. Adapting to change is the true test of self." Not to mention we have Beans and Wang.Questions?*raises hand*I've got a question. Since when do you consider yourself a veteran? You've barely been around two months and almost all your posts are either +1's or you just quote somebody else without adding anything. You are, by far, the most annoying person on this site since Fluffdogg87 left. The word "Veteran" under your name does not a quality poster make. To the OP: Back in the "good ol' days" everybody complained about how crappy General was too. There are a lot more members now and it's pretty crazy, but in six months you'll be reminiscing about how awesome the forum was back in the beginning of the year. Things change. Deal or find a skyscraper to jump off of.....Wait a minute. "Of" is a preposition. I don't want to be grammatically incorrect. How's this? Deal or find a skyscraper off of which to jump. Perrrrrrfect.

kers2 0
It seems pretty much the same to me.Also, I was thinking pretty much exactly what turd said. It's like a cycle where new people come in and everyone thinks the forum has gone to shit, then things cool down a bit and everyone is cool again... repeat
