For "normal" answers to that question, I call and play for the set.O.K., one more...I'm UTG with 8h-9h. All limp in 5 handed.flop comes down 8c-9d-Ad.2 fold, mp raises to $50. I'd assume the first hand is 5 handed also? Like the above poster says, always post the blinds, and how deep everyone is (or close). The first hand is confusing because if your 5 handed then nobody folded, as there is no mention of the blinds here. The CO would be acting 2nd. I'd call if it were 5 handed, pricing in the blinds is of little consequence here. I won't even try to help on the second because obviously were missing some action here. Got people folding when there has been no betting, go someone raising when there has been no betting, he is raising and you haven't checked, bet, or anything else.I will say without hearing anything that I am not a big fan of limping in with 8h 9h, 5 handed or otherwise. nutzbuster 7
In the 1st hand there was only 3 of us in the hand. All equal stacks (+/-$500 each) and all decent regular players.I folded my 9's pre flop. Good lay down to A-K and pocket 10's. I would have gotten crushed.2nd hand...Had 5 originally limping. Flop came and i (utg) check, another checks and MP bets (not raises, sorry) $50, next guy folds, and the cut off calls $50.4 left now action back to me, and I can call, raise or fold. I figure they obviously missed the flop and are on draws so I decide to try to take it down right there. I re-raise $150 and make it $200 to go.Everyone folds! Original raiser had K-Qclubs, the cut off was on a straight draw. No idea what the others had.weird...
