soccersox8 0
i'm not sure which section this should go in, so don't flame me too badly if it should be somewhere elsei'm a break even/maybe slightly losing lower limit nlhe cash game player at bodog currently. it's the only site i've ever played at, but i've only been playing for about 4 months. i'm not happy with the changes to their new site (i.e. the bright red really hurts my eyes), so i'm looking to change sites. i think maybe i want to go to party, but that's just b/c i've heard that the games there are easiest to beat. i stumbled across a pso deal that offers free poker tracker, when i sign up for party through them, and i was wondering if you guys think it's a good deal. i think having poker tracker would definitely be +EV for someone like me who is still learning, but is willing to put some time/effort into studying his game. any thoughts would be appreciated.thanks, matt
bcook823 0
Poker tracker is a must have if your playing a lot of online poker. It is not very expensive to buy it though, you may can find a bonus offer that can give you the cash to buy poker tracker and have some cash left over. I don't know about party, so I can't speak intelligently on that.
cu in 4years Dan 1
i dont think the you can completley put certain online poker rooms into boxes of easy and hard, every player is different in their skill level...however having said that i have played at party poker, ub, and poker stars and i can say that i have had a greater success at party so who knows.... CobaltBlue 662
soccer, it's actually possible to change Bodog's background. I really didn't like the red either, so I turned it to a more calming blue. You just have to go find the table graphics (c:program filesbodog pokerdatabodogimageswidgetstable) and edit them. Here's what mine looks like:
jimmybaker04 0
I agree bodog's new software absolutely sucks. I am a big Full Tilt fan, although I have never played on party poker.I also like Golden Palace.I would not recommend pokerroom.com, paradise, or pacific.I have never used any sort of poker tracker software. Anyone know of one that runs on a Mac?
