Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q:club:, K:spade:.
UTG calls, MP calls, 2 folds, UTG calls, MP calls, SB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 9:club:, 8:spade:, Q:heart: (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, MP folds, SB calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 6:heart: (3 players)
SB bets, Hero...

Call down, raise, or fold?

Again, I would much rather take a flop with KQo from the big and that many limpers.

i raise/call and fold river UI

raise and check behind scary rivers to avoid getting check raised on my first hand and letting the table see I'm capable of folding.

I like checking through preflop also. KQo is a tricky hand, because it has pretty good equity against a field, yet for a lot of people it's unprofitable because it makes so many 2nd place pairs.

As played... I hate gaybets too. If you want to raise, I think you need to fold if you're 3-bet.
Always bet like you've got a pair.

If I called the turn 3-bet, I'd feel like I have to call a river bet as well.

On the turn, there are too many hands that have us drawing dead when we get 3-bet. The hands that we have outs agiainst (small 2 pair/pair +draw) aren't frequent enough to make me want call here.
