I just can never seem to remember to come by here...That's awesome. i actually just started doing MMA training last week. I just went to the brazilian jiu jitsu classes last week, but today I start the striking class. Muay Thai and Boxing. Pretty stoked about it. I'll probably be training 3x a week since thats how the classes are broken down (Monday- striking, Wed- JJ, thurs- Judo/takedowns)Not saying I'm gonna be getting into a cage any time soon (if ever) but it's a sick work out and a lot of fun. That combined with some regular gym work and eating right and I should get in great shape pretty fast.

so i didn't actually look into the program you're on, but i did decide to get off my ass and start working out again. i moved all of my equipment to the basement (free weights, bowflex, exercise bike), set up a tv down there to do some Insanity when i have time, and bought and hung a heavy bag (got some gloves and wrist wraps too)...so i'm set. i decided a way to keep myself motivated is that i'm going to snap a picture of myself every day for however long i keep this up (hopefully a year since i have a friend thats getting married next october and i am hoping to look my best for the single bridesmaids) and then turn them into a video or somethingto start i went 5 rounds with the heavy bag, and gotta say i can see myself sticking to a boxing workout

this forum still exists?

"I'm probably about an 8-1 to win this thing," says Sam Grizzle.
"Let's have a last longer for whatever you can afford," says Benyamine. "So, like 2 bucks. No! Can we do $10?"

Right on bro. Its been so long since I had taco bell, do they still have volcano tacos? My dream is to be rich enough one day to fill a hot tub up with that volcano cheese sauce and party in there with fat hookers.

so i am apparently a bit of a medical mystery...about 10 years ago i went to my doctor because i was having these dizzy spells, and the blood work he did came back showing that i was hypercalcemic (too much calcium in the blood). i had to go in a couple more times for retesting and follow up testing, but before we ever got around to figuring out the root cause, he packed up and bailed to florida. anyways, about 3 yrs ago when i was super depressed and lost a bunch of weight, my mom panicked and figured i must have cancer, so i got some more blood work done, which of course came back hypercalcemic again. more tests and follow up tests later, still no answer. of course, i wasn't feeling any symptoms of anything, so i just stopped scheduling bloodletting appointments.about 5 months ago i had to get more blood drawn, and naturally the results come back that i am still hypercalcemic. this time, my doctor decides he needs to refer me to a specialist. my enocrinologist tested me for just about everything known to man when it comes to hypercalcemia, and found absolutely nothing that would be to blame. his latest "update" on my case was pretty much him just saying he gives up.today i went to my family doctor (i have strep throat, go me!) and he asked about my condition. after telling him the specialist was clueless, he decided it is now his mission to find someone that can figure out wtf is wrong with me. so friday i get to do a full-body bone scan, and the following thursday i get to see an oncologist (even though he's fairly certain i don't have any sort of malignancy).i'm fairly certain that my calcium levels are just reflecting my excellence levels.

got some new info on my medical condition...recently had a CT scan, and got the results back yesterday. they found a 6mm "indeterminate nodule" on the upper lobe of my right lung. basically this could be a benign tumor, scar tissue of some kind, or the beginning stages of lung cancer. my oncologist scheduled a second CT scan for the end of July to see if the spot is growing or whatnot before doing a biopsy to check for malignancy. i'm being given very little info on it at this point, and get to wait 3 months for any real answers.as a side note, i am not now, nor have i ever been a smoker, though i have probably spent about 90% of my life around smokers. if i do indeed have lung cancer i think i have the right to be pissed.
