Actuary 3 Posted January 22, 2006 Author Share Posted January 22, 2006 yeah, I'm kinda queasy reading this today.I have a problem with strong players call my flop bets after I 3-bet, I fear a c/r and don't want to fold the best hand.When he has a flush (too rare to really worry about) I save a bet. He usually doesn't even have 1 club and it only hits 20% of the time. Is it clear I'm doing this to induce a river bet from a weaker hand and save myself from paying off AK/KQ, on a c/r or folding the best hand to a c/r.He has 3 outs to catchup or less usually, sometimes 9.I think not having the Qc is huge here. (props to Screech)The concept against strong players drawing thin, who usully fold to a bet, in small-med pots, may have some worth sometimes. Bad time though.thanks!
