Since October or so I have been playing poker at bospoker.com This site is linked to the sportsbook betonsports.com Its nice that the accounts are linked so that you can play poker and bet on sports out of the same account. There are usually about 100 players playing at this site an the only games going usually are NL hold-em. The players are the absolute worst that I have seen on the web. Unfortunately the software is slow and subpar. The customer support is quite good and is always helpful.For the new year I decided that I was going to start chasing bonus's.The first bonus that caught my eye was bodog.com offering a 100 bonus with a 100 deposit if you say that you were referred by cardplayer.com . The software at bodog is extremely fast, but several times there were server issues in the month or so I played there. The bonus takes a while to clear because you have to earn bodog points that are based on rake and tourny buy ins. You have to contribute to the pot to work off the bonus. There point system is similar to ultimate bets. The players at this site are almost as loose as the players at bospoker. The $5 sng's are extremely loose and the blinds go up very fast. I like this site, but I probobly will not play there again until I know the server issues are fixed.Next I decided to try interpoker for the $90 deposit bonus. I deposited $100. Now this bonus is not immediately credited to your account. You have to play in 500 raked hands to unlock the bonus. You just have to be dealt cards for the hand to be counted. I'd heard that the crypto software is terrible but I did not have any problems. Customer service was competent and polite. The lowest limit game here is 1/2 and it is very tight passive because of so many people trying to clear the bonus. The nl and pl games are quite profitable. Most of the players on this site are from the UK and I've found that the best time to play on this site is in mid morning about 9 am cst. At night the site is full of tight passive bonus chasers. I believe every month they have the $90 deposit bonus and I will definately be back.Yesterday, Sunday I decided that I would try ultimate bet which was a bad move for me. The 40% bonus for new deposits was too good for me to pass up. The software is nice at UB. I didn't notice any glitches. The players on a whole at ultimate bet are much better than at the other sites that I have been playing at. I bought in for the .25/.50 $50 max buy in NL game and made a bad play and lost my first $50. Then I rebuyed for $50 and got QQ went all in preflop and got called by AK0, and a King came on the river and I was down another $50. I should have stopped there but I decided I'd try another table. I bought in for another $50. 3 or 4 hands at the table I was dealt 88. I limped against one other player. The bord was 3 cards below 8. I don't remember what they were so I bet about $5 and the other player raised me back and I raised him back all in and he called with a wonderful KK. Right there I was down $150 for the session.I played a few more sng's and other games at UB and for the day was down $85. I think that playing at other sites with terrible players has affected my game. When I first started playing online poker 4-5 years ago I played at paradise. Then I took a break from online poker and came back to pokerstars. The new sites seem to be much looser than the older established sites and the new sites seem to be more profitable for me. I just think that they are screwing up my game. Does anyone else feel this way. Anyways I just felt like ranting. Hope y'all have a good day.

Try out party poker. It has easy players. Look into getting rakeback, you will thank me for it. Trust me. I am so upset I havn't started doing this earlier. I started getting rakeback about a month ago and already go $500 back. Look up rakeback in the form here. There is a few posts about exactly what it is if you don't know. These sites take so much rake, that anyone who plays on a regular basis would be dumb not to do it.
