Within the year and it is going to get messy as in nuclear messy. Gas prices are going to skyrocket, I say at least to 4 a gallon maybe more. Anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid this catastrophe???

No. Iran is no where close to being nuclear weapons capable. No where. They are still in the early stages of processing Uranium into fuel grade, let alone weapons grade. Iran states that they want to develop and use nuclear power for the good of its citizens. No. They want to develop nuclear weapons to use against Israel. You see, the entire Arab world hates Jews and Israel. Iran wants nothing more than to see Israel crumble as a nation. Hussein even shot scud missles at Israel.

Being the world's policemen, Israel will cry to her brother America for help, and the leader of America will come and save her. If Iran uses nuclear weapons against Israel, then Israel will reply with the same force in the form of US bombs, and war ensues. Having so many troops already in Iraq, it will be easy to build up forces in the middle east and around Iran. Under the same pretense as going into Iraq, the leader of America will invade Iran and render their nuclear program inoperable, sending them back to the fifties.

But not this year, or next. Some time in the near future, count on it. And gas will go up without the help of these events.

Also, this is unavoidable. You need to realize the resolve of these people. They flew planes into buildings thinking they were going to their heaven to sit with 72 virgins. Do you really think Westerners can ever hope to understand their culture, values, and beliefs?

How do you like my story?

Your story is ok, I've talked to a state department insider who now has a drinking problem and teaches political science, and he thinks the nukes will be flying in 20 years. Isreal will be the first to use them according to him.

We are nowhere near war with Iran. How are we gonna be at "war" with them within a year...when we won't even be out of Iraq in one year??

Israel will not cry to her brother America. Israel will preemptive strike if they feel like it, in a heartbeat (see 7 Days War). If Iran gets close to nukes, it will be Israel who starts something unless they are held back (as we did in the Gulf War.). They don't f*ck around.
