How many players?Ah, it doesn't really matter, what makes you think A-8 off is beating a raiser and a caller? You push in and you will get called by someone with a better hand 75% of the time. You just call and you have a lot of your total stack in with a hand that is likely dominated. You re-raise not all in and you should be escorted from the table right there.Fold/All in/Call/Re-raise

Easy fold regardless of stage. A raise like that already called you can be pretty sure most of the time A8 os is beat. If your near money why risk a hand like that when people are taking each other on. If your on the bubble then look for PP to hand where you can make the raises. Easy fold either wasy you look at it.

Fold it - Ax (lower kicker) may be able to face off one on one in a late one table tourney, but you aren't short on chips, there are already two players - why risk it on a mediocre hand?Dev

Though a raiser may be bluffing, a caller is never bluffing. You have to pick your battles. An early position raiser and a caller is not the time you push in with A-rag.Fold. easy easy easy fold. Wait until you're on the button and pick up the blinds. You have 10 more hands to pick up a pair or broadway hand. Fold fold fold fold fold.

in response to wrto saying a caller is never bluffing i have a funny story. i took my roomate to a poker tournament a couple of weeks ago. he had never really played before. regardless about an hour into the tourney i see him raise preflop at another table. i'm thinking oh this might be interesting. he gets a couple of callers. after the flop he calls the better. then on the turn the same. finally on the river one dude goes all in. oh by the way the board has an ace on it. other than that i believe rags. at this point i figure he is definitely beat. anyway my roomate called him down with j 8. he then told me later it was a bluff. i immediately explained that you can't really bluff when calling, and preceded to laugh my ass off.
