back in July i placed a $5 wager on Carolina to win the Super Bowl, the odds were 17/1. If they win i am due to make $85 (plus my $5)

would anyone be interested in buying me out of this for $20?

for $20 you get well over 4/1 odds and the current line is 7/2. its a good deal for both of us especially if you like Carolina.

not exactly, i thought it was a great pick pre season, they obviously have a decent team. and at 17/1 i liked it!

I had no idea they would face the BEARS in the playoffs. i am suprised the BEARS made it to the playoffs, i thought they would only win 6 games this yr.

$20 to get $85 is not 4:1 odds... closer to 3:1 and worse than if I were to lay the $20 myself.. I would get $90 ($70 for the win plus my original bet)

The initial bet was $5 to win $85 for a total of $90. If you wagered $20 at 4/1, you would win $80 for a total of $100. If you took the deal, you'd be getting the Panthers at 7/2.


Of course, now that they beat the Bears, it looks a little better.

i still dont care if i win the wager but i guess $85 is $85.
