I would like some feed back on what a good preflop betting strategy is in low limit pot limit holdem games. The ones I have been playing almost everyone limps every hand. I am doing ok , but would like to refine this part of my game.Right now if every one before me limps and I am holding strong starting hand (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ) I bet the pot I still usually get several callers. The probelm i get into is with hands like JJ. there is always some guy calling with A anything or king anthing, and I end up dumping my jacks. I dont think i want to bet less and encourage more callers, but dont want to fold JJ preflop either.....
how much to bet preflop in low limit pot limit games

Dont' play PL. What's the point? It restricts you from making bets/bluffs with any teeth, and just invites people to call you like in situations that you described, knowing they'll only have to pay so much to see a flop. Just play limit if you don't want to play NL (not saying that's the case), you'll lose less to donks.
Savvy?

I like PL because you can still control the pot odds without having to commit your whole stack so often.

Raise pot preflop with JJ anyway.
You're about 50/50 to not flop one of the 3 overcards.
Some, including Daniel Negreanu, would say that this makes PLH a more skill-intensive game than NLH. I personally just don't care to figure out the intricacies of PLH.

Always bet like you've got a pair.

When raising, the maount should often depend on position rather than the cards you hold...
On of the biggest mistakes I see i people raising A9 though AK in the blinds... It only gets expensive if this in an automatic play. If the time is right, and your image good, then maybe.
So far as the Jacks... I raise the 95% of the time form c.o and button but if I see them in the blinds I limp or smooth call maybe half the time... Keep mixing it up and dont play vulnerable hands out of position.
