My main question is, if you put a player on a certain hand, I was pretty sure he had AJ, and the pot is big and has potential to get even bigger, do you go with your read and fold, or do you hang around for the times that your read is wrong. How aggressive had he been pre-flop? Is he likely to just limp with AJ from MP or raise with it?On the flop, betting out is fine. He re-raises. You said you had seen him play Jx before, but did he re-raise in those or similar cases? Since he didn't raise pre-flop, I wouldn't put him on two overcards like AQ or AK. If he's got a J, which is likely, then he's probably got QJ, KJ, AJ, or he already hit his two pair. On the turn you bet and he re-raises again, which would make me think AJ or two pair because it didn't seem like that A bothered him at all, nor did those other two guys calling along with the two of you. By the time you get to the river, the pot is big, so you won't be folding but I think I would have check/called.Even if you are pretty sure he has AJ, you still can't fold by the time you get to the turn because the pot is too big and you only need him to hold something else a small percentage of the time for it to be profitable for you to stay in for the whole hand.

You did a lot of things wrong this hand. There's a reason you don't play 10J off in early position. And the flop justifies that reason. And playing it TEN handed? Shame on you.*** FLOP *** : [ 4s 7c Jh ] The bet on the flop is fine since you are already in it, even though you might already be losing. Then there is a raise, so now you are PROBABLY losing. The call is loose, but now horrible.*** TURN *** : [ 4s 7c Jh ] [ Ad ] And you bet out at this turn? What do you think you are beating now? And then you call a raise? You won't win money 10-handed this way. Don't be silly, don't play 10-J off in EP 10 handed again. Even if you won the pot, playing it that way is going to kill your bankroll in the long run.[/b]

NorthPacific lost $4.50 (showed hand) [ Jc Td ] (two pair, jacks and tens)youngsta805 bet $4.50, collected $16.25, net +$11.75 (showed hand) [ Js As ] (two pair, aces and jacks)As you may have guessed, I lost to the AJ. Thanks for the posts, I may have to re-evaluate my love for JT early.
