opinions on dating co workers

Recommended Posts

I've actually done this twice and both ended up kind of messy. But now at my job is this pretty Latino. I can not keep my mind off her and I get the vibe that she digs me as well. Our talk time is limited, so there has been no flirting yet, but she iniates conversations with me and we make eye contact alot when sitting across the room from each other. I think she has a boyfriend, cuz at break she immediately is texting someone? I haven't made a move yet, cuz she is new and I don't want to make her uncomfortable. The next chance I get though I'm going for it. What do you guys think of dating co workers?

If she's a hot babe I would pork her.Seriously though, there's a lot of factors. I think the big one would be how closely do you work with her? If you dont have a lot of interaction with her at work, do it. If you work real close with her, dont do it.

don't shit where you eat.
Thanks Tony Soprano :!: PS. Love the new avatar. Vanderjat is a tool. Can you say welcome to the Arena Football League?
I hate the Colts, so its not like Im sticking up for Vanderjat, but....He is the most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL. I highly doubt the will be playing in the Arena League anytime soon. He missed a 46 yd. field goal, not like it was 26 yds.

Past stats are great...the NFL is about winning. What have you done for me lately? He also dogged Manning last year after their loss. Classy guy. I didn't see/hear Manning say anything about the kicking game.

Since you apparently have experience in this area, just ask yourself if it is worth the mess. Depends on the size of the company you work for too, how closely you would be working with her, and how important your job is to you. I dated a co-worker once and we ended up getting married...

same boat
proof that its a bad idea. j/s
not really. I can see where dating a co-worker can be very messy (i.e. my previous relationship) but it worked out really well with my wife.

I was just saying it was a bad idea cause you got married. i.e. getting married being the bad idea. I have no stomach for such things.

i also married my former co-worker. we worked together for over a year as a couple. we get along really well, so we can handle seeing each other frequently, most people need to be separate. it is nicer not working together now, but it was fun at time time. it made 5:30 am a lot better when you wake up next to the person you go to work with. however, most of our friends said there was no way they could have done it, but it depends on the person.
