MasterRich 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 hey, so yesterday i go to my dentist for a routine check up and my dentist says i need two of my wisdom teeth taking out ASAP, meaning right there and then....and it HURT!!!...apparently there was a infection and not enough room in my mouth for the teeth to grow, so they had to go, and the dentist told me in a few months the otherside has to go too..he put me on pain killers, Vicoden, which i throw up everytime i take them and feel like i wanna die, man this sucks....the side of my mouth is HUGE and all i have been doing is sleeping..anyone ever have to go through this?have any tips of how to ease the pain? Maybe try codein (sp?), a couple people I know seem to love that stuff..I am not one to eat a lot of food when i eat, and i am told with Vicoden you need to eat a lot and i guess because of my empty stomach almost all the time i get really sick....so i am taking weaker pain killers, but man its still a pain and a big annoyance in my mouth... If the painkillers are making you vomit, try to see if you can get something more mild that you can at least hold down. When my wisdom teeth were taken out, I was given hydrocodone and that seemed to work pretty well (though they made me vomit once as well). Good luck, feel better. Link to post Share on other sites

Good luck, feel better.When I had my wisdom teeth out (all four), I was on vicodan all week. It didn't hurt, but I couldn't eat. A friend of mine was smoking weed the very next day and I thought he was hardcore as ****. He suffered no ill effects, so uh...maybe weed's the way to go. It'll keep you from vomiting too. beans-n-icewater 18 Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 Due to a discount health care plan here at the brothel, the dental program was going to be cancelled last week due to lack of funds (and lack of teeth for many of the girls as well)So before the plan was axed, I scheduled an appointment with the dentist at 9:00 a.m. last Thursday morning. My plan was to get a routine check-up along with a cleaning to remove a slight yellow-tint that resembles a 1/2 bottle of Corona that has been used as an ashtray.I knew I was in trouble after arriving at the medical center when the nurse had to look up my dental records on micro-fiche (the last dentist I saw gave me a balloon) Now before I go into the detail of the office visit, I must digress to the night before. Rafe called to inform me of an important buisness meeting that required my attendance. Always glad to be a part of our "empire", I grabbed my briefcase and rushed over to the El Cortez's piano bar where we conduct our board meetings. (not because of the atmosphere, but thats the point in the building where the sewage smell is minimal)The clients that Rafe were meeting with were looking for a buisness in Vegas to install a new "vapor" bar. For those that have never heard of one, it's a way of inhaling alcohol into the lungs via a contraption that resembles a Delorean engine made for time travel. Beer, wine, or any other booze is poured into a small glass bowl that fits inside the machine. After the main switch is thrown, an oxygen mask is then placed over the nose and mouth, directing the 200 proof haze into the bloodstream thru the lungs.I was a bit worried about this latest "find" of Rafes, partly because of his last project involving the flushless toilets he bought and had installed at the bargan price of $1825 each (consisted of stainless trash cans with seats on the top... even our clientel refused to change the bags) But the idea of ingesting mass quantities of beer without constant peeing was enough to keep my attention.Fast forward to Thursday morning. I awoke in the alley between the Golden Gate and the Pioneer gift shop. I was naked from the waist down, wearing only a shirt that I had never seen before. The oxygen mask was still firmly attached to my face, and the hose was draped from the high voltage wires 65 feet above me that fed power to the Fremont Experience lights. A tall black man was reaching into my shirt pocket as my eyes opened and tried to regain focus. "HEY FRED!!!! THIS SUMBIATCH IS STILL ALIVE!!!" he yelled to the bum behind him.... "Hey mister, you crash land some kind of stealth plane? Or is you some kinda astrunat?"sorry guys... I have to run to another meeting with Rafe at 11 tonight.. I had a tooth pulled about a year ago and it went pretty smoothly and I was fine like the next day. Bleeding stopped and it healed pretty quick.
