The fish call way too much. I get sucked out on by guys raising button pair and 5-high to the river just to suck out and hit their 2-outters. At first I was skeptical, but today everything has changed.Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is MP1 with Q :) Q :) UTG calls, 1 fold, UTG calls.Flop: (7 SB) 3 :) , 3 :D , 4 :) (3 players)SB checks, UTG bets, SB folds, UTG calls.Turn: (5.50 BB) 8 :) (2 players)UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG calls.River: (7.50 BB) [A :spade: ] (2 players)UTG checks, Hero checks.Final Pot: 7.50 BB<----He shows A6o to bust my queens.What was that guy thinking!?!?Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is CO with A :) , K :) . 2 folds, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls.Flop: (16.50 SB) K :) , Q :D, 6 :club: (4 players)BB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG+2 folds, Hero calls.Turn: (11.25 BB) A :D (3 players)BB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, BB calls, Hero calls.Why I didn't bet the turn is beyond me. Tonight I was 4-tabling for the first time.River: (14.25 BB) 6 :) (3 players)BB bets, Hero calls, Button calls.Final Pot: 17.25 BB<-------64o wins with trips!WTF!?!? This shit is killing me!Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is SB with K :D , K :) . 2 folds, BB calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls.Flop: (24 SB) 6 :) , K :) , 7 :D (6 players)Hero bets, BB calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls.Turn: (22 BB) 2 :D (5 players)Hero bets, Hero calls, BB calls, MP2 calls.River: (38 BB) 5 :) (4 players)Hero bets, Hero calls, BB calls, MP2 calls.Final Pot: 46 BBOne guy has AA, one has 76o, and the other was just along for the ride.I guess that kinda makes up for it. Just wish I capped the river. <----And im the one saying smash is too passive. If you can't beat the micro limits you can't beat any limit. Period.

Seriously, I'm having a huge down swing again too. Some days I swear I get sucked out on so many times. Cool callers just rafting the river and I end up smashed against the rocks.I'm seriously wondering if weekends are especially bad for this syndrome.
Suddenly I turned around
And she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists
And flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully
And took my crown of thorns.
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."

I had someone cap vs. my AA then checkraise with 86o and the second pair it made. Man did I feel foolish when he showed after just calling his river raise of me (a Q on the board and his ridiculous overplay led me to believe he had set QQ, since he capped PF. Man, I love when my reads are kinda off like that). Also, my BR has come to a crossroads: Move up, or buy an iPod with my winnings after depositing to pick up a party skin bonus. Decisions, decisions... what a night. Definite nice upswing. As for the hands, 1 is well played, 2 is a case where yeah, you lead the turn, and HOLY F***NUTS #3 is crazy. And I thought the 26 dollar pot I won with KTs missing a flush and backdooring the nut straight was a monster pot on party .5/1

Yeah, rivers=fish=memorable ridiculous suckouts. Also drunk maniacs who raise with everything, and for some reason Party has decided that noone running AA against me will survive, but I will lose with AA, QQ, and especially JJ to small sets EVERY TIME.Last night I had a 60BB downswing from 10:30-12:00, then a 64BB upswing 12:00-1:30. I felt kinda bad, like I was manufacturing a winning night, but it was funny to see a net plus considering how buried I was early.I need to get a cold and stay home like a loser playing online more often. This has potential.

Don't say "like a loser". It hurts my feelings. I played for 12 hours today. I play 50+ hours a week.

The really funny part of this was I had a cold friday and I called in sick.. sat at home and played poker, and was up like 50BB's until like 6, then it went downhill. Weekends are horrible- lolMaybe I shouldn't drink bourbon either. I dropped down a limit to try and blow some steam but I ended up making the bleeding worse, lol I think we need a FCP IRC room to vent these sessions at each other.

I find I make more profit at the lower limits on the weekends. Wow are the fish schooling up. I can usually hit a 25/50 limit table for between $5 and $10 in a little while and that's without catching a lot of cards. To make that income, I see about 20% of the flops and win about 7% of the total hands.I play at UB so it might be different other places.

So you tighten up during weekend fish?I loosen up quite a bit because of all the passive calling I tend to see- hmm maybe I'll try a couple more hours playing tighter

as long as you just accept that on weekends you tend to lose more with good hands the easier it will be to win money in the end. i played about 2 hrs tonight and ended up 70bb just by playin extremely tight and makin sure i had the best hand. If you just wait for the nuts people will call along with you everytime...I will admit the a6 was a bad call unless he had a a of diamonds and woulda had 4 to the flush

as a person who has to play low limit b/c of money issues...the trick is to find tables where people arent playing every hand and to find tables that are short. its a whole lot easier. Even if I am 95% sure I have the best hand..If somebody starts reraising me... Ill just start calling. Yah I might not win the most bb possible but to me its a safer play

lol maybe I ought to stop jumping in the biggest table with the most players seeing the flop. Find a nice tight table I can bully
