I dabble in the jam band scene but admit to knowing nowhere near as much about the band as someone like KDawg. Obviously they are a band that is all about the live show, so if you were ever going to pick something up, A Live One is a good concert to start with (and I am sure KDawg can provide several other good options). If you are looking for an album to introduce you to the band, A Picture of Nectar is my favorite, but Farmhouse is probably the most casual listener-friendly. Even my parents dig the album.
