I was wondering how many people listen to music while they are playing poker? I recently started playing alot of hold'em online and I've been finding its easier not to be distracted if I'm listening to some music.Also do you think there is a difference between listening to music while playing online as opposed to in person. I don't think it would help my game as much in person then it does online.Thanks for listening.Chris

while playing online i always have music on...mostly stuff like the smiths,the cure,depechemode...relaxing stuff that helps me focus..

At my games we listen to music. Everything from Jay-Z to Linkin Park and i have a friend who listens to Ashley Simpson ( No he is not gay ) but he can only listen to her with his headphones on. I believe listening to music kind of amps me up and makes me play smarter.

I listen to music about half the time when playing live or online. I use my 30gb Ipod video with Bose Quietcomfort2 Noise Cancelling Headphones.

I'm listening to music right now. I'm real old school and I always am listening to my walk man at all times when I'm on the computer which includes when I play poker.
I know I'm playing very well and am very concentrated when I don't hear the music. I know it sounds weird but when i'm in the "zone" I don't even notice that theres music playing.
