Not like this was a horrible beat, but man it happened last night and I am still thinking about it. $20 NL toury on stars, 18 players left first pays like $3k. I get all my chips all in preflop with two other players. The pot has 25% of the total chips in the tournament in it. I got my pocket rockets to go against there k's and 10's. Flop k q j, turn q river 9. So I get the worst of both worlds, not only did I lose the huge main pot, but also lost the 20k side pot and I am out. I know I was just 67% to win it preflop, but man it still stings to see at least $500 if not more $ go down the drain. Ah well, as TJ would say thats poker.

Umm, that's kind of the point of the bad beat forum. Unless he posted it somewhere else and it got moved, in which case you should just complain about that.As for the topic though, I do think the title is a little misleading. You say the beat cost you several Gs' when really you only missed out on a chance at a few G's. Sensationalism is unnecessary.
