I just wish anthony gonzalez would just continually make music. like a new album every day. it's just so good.so anyways, I remember a long time ago in here people were talking about fuck buttons when tarot sport came out, saying how awesome it was. well I downloaded it then and from what I remember, I freaking hated it. not sure why, and I think their name had something to do with it (look how edgy we are!), but it just didn't sit with me. fast forward to yesterday, I see where danny boyle used several of their songs (I keep saying they as if it's a band, could just be one guy, I don't know) in the opening ceremony so it sparked my interest to listen again. so what the fucking fuck was wrong with me the first time? this shit is gnar as diamond encrusted ballsacks. so now I like danny boyle even more. good guy that danny boyle.

Jay Electronica's album is finally actually happening, it seems. He tweeted the tracklisting: http://twitter.com/J...4621698/photo/1

A guy with far less talent who basically ripped off the postal service. Props to him for being a millionaire I guess.

I'm listening to a lot of Katy Perry for whatever reason. I'm also getting into Adele like 4 years late.

hey pitchfork's got this fan voted best 200 since 1997 or some shit. pretty cool list. mostly predictable, especially the top 10, but there's some neat surprises in there, and also some albums that I've never listened to and a few I've never heard of. I get excited at the possibility of good music I haven't heard.guess what album's number one! (hint: it's fucking radiohead)

I went and saw D'Angelo last night (he's touring with Mary J. Blige).

Holy cow, that guy is still so cool. The music is James Brown funk, with a fantastic band. It's worth it, go check it out.

I hope John Mayer was there.

The new Calexico album (Algiers) sounds pretty great.

The video for Knife (Grizzly Bear) reminds me of There Will Be Blood
