I assume that by now strat has already told you, but I'll tell you anyway. My roommate has a mac and he says he can't figure out how to do it. He can tell the torrent where to download but once it's downloaded he can't move it. On a pc though you simply hit Stop, then right-click on it and go to Advanced -> Set Download Location. On a mac I guess you could remove the torrent and then re-open it and change its location. Not sure how easily that'd work.

If you have a lot of torrents, the way to do it is: move all the completed files to DirA (or let DirA be your old Completed directory). Tell uTorrent that is your unfinished directory. Load all the .torrent files. uTorrent will attempt to 'finish' all the torrents using the completed files to add on to, however, they will all already be complete. uTorrent will then auto-move all the completed files to DirB - your Completed directory - which you will have specified as the location you want the files to now reside ie: your new external drive. Sometimes this doesn't work 100% - in that case use an MP3 tagger to universally change a single obscure tag. uTorrent will fix the last .01% of the file (minimal ratio damage, but hopefully the files remain available) then move them.

The new Kanye West album leaked. As much as I might want to dislike it, it actually has some interesting stuff. IMO only his first 2 albums were any good (until this one), but they are undeniably interesting and even exciting. This album is the same - not the same sound as his early stuff, but the same energy and sort of playfulness. He's still the biggest douche ever, but the new album is worth hearing.I've only listened to the album about once, but so far the first track, Dark Fantasy, is my favorite. Very unique and catchy.

I'm not a big Kanye fan, although I was for a minute when I first heard his first 2 albums. But at least he's always interesting, and the new album is definitely interesting. It also a lot of tracks that would be absolutely perfect for a party.Favorite lyric so far: Restraining order,Can't see my daughter,Her mother brother grandmother hate me in that order.Oh, and what's the fuckin deal with the RZA? Show me a little something RZA. "You know this shit is, fuckin ridiculous." Repeat. Basically the same as his verse on OB4CL2 last year - "We soldiers, boy we soldiers!" Repeat. At least he produced that track for Rae though, but regardless I dunno why the dude is afraid to spit a verse. He has such a great and unique voice and flow, but he leaves me wanting a lot more.

Hers is a rather auspicious debut, no?Similar gals you've probably already heard of:Beth Orton is kind of similar. I like her early stuff a lot.Regina Spektor and Martha Wainwright (Rufus's sister) are similar too, though Regina's much quirkier in her production/instrumentation, and Martha's quite a bit...angrier, I suppose, in a feminist kind of way...edit, oh and i can't stress enough how good norah jones' latest is, and a lot of it is guitar-based.

Saw Sufjan last night at Beacon Theater, it was amazing. Pretty hard to describe but you could tell a shitload of effort went in to making the experience look and sound perfect, and to make it like a big exalting ritual for the performers and the audience.Sidenote, he pronounced the album like "age of odds".

Magnetic Fields - Yeah Oh YeahOne of the funniest lyrics ever...Yeah Oh Yeah
"We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

UNINTERESTING ANECDOTE #4468797651So after re-formatting and pointing utorrent to the right place for all my dl's, one by one, which was fucking painstaking, my gf plugged in an external hd which renamed the drive letter where I have all my shit saved. And now she has a bunch of video editing stuff pointing to the external with that letter so I can't just change it back.FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFf

Dump the bitch.
We are all so complicated, and then we die. We are a subject one day, with our vanities, our loves, our worries, and then one day, abruptly, we become nothing but an object, an absolutely disgusting pile of shit. We pass very quickly from one stage to the next. It's very bizarre. It will happen to all of us, and fairly soon too. We become an object you can handle like a stone, but a stone that was someone.
— Christian Boltanski

Religion. It's given people hope in a world torn apart by religion.
— Jon Stewart
