i resisted last.fm for a long time, although im not really sure why.i guess im paranoid about anything that gets access to my itunes. one day i will turn my computer on and half of it will be gone. it will be a sad day. this is also why i dont update my itunes regularly.but that being said, last.fm seems okay. if i was to get my hd wiped or if my computer died or something, i could still listen to my music on there?http://www.last.fm/user/nugsybogues

Cristian Vogel's remix of Thom Yorke's "Black Swan" on The Eraser Remixed is sweet. I've listened to it like 10 times in the last 1.15 hours. I guess it's time to figure out more about this Cristian Vogel character. He's only going to make my iPod more loathsome, as mk would say. Having to explain who Ricardo Villalobos and Cristian Vogel are to random people who use my iPod is going to make me feel like a massive douche.

To clarify, the remix I'm really in love with is the "Vogel Bonus Beats" remix.

you know, I was thinking last night about a recent thread here where a guy said he got his girlfriend nickelback tickets for christmas, and I came to the realization that I really don't think there is any way I could ever marry a girl that liked nickelback. I mean, I'm pretty sure she could be top notch on every other level: really hot, super smart, funny, all that stuff, but if she liked nickelback, and not like "well I guess I can listen to them or whatever", but liked them enough to want to go see them live kind of like, then I just could not get past that.what do you guys think? what if there was a girl out there that was virtually perfect in your eyes (looked how you want her to look, great personality, all the other crap you would want) but she was a big nickelback fan... would you be able to marry her?

Oh absolutely I would. You see, if some girl is perfect in every way, then there's no way for me to feel superior. Toss in that Nickelback fanhood and, all of a sudden, you got a stew (of Wang-driven insecurity).

i think i could, because i'd obviously be able to instantly convince her that nickelback is terribad, and by the time i'd marry her she'd probably like good music. i can be quite persuasive, you know.now, a real discussion is: could i marry a republican....

i was going to say no, then i remembered, i kinda did. she's not a big fan, like somewhere in between "well I guess I can listen to them or whatever" and "i want to see them live", and it annoys the bajesus outta me. luckily, as the man, generally speaking, i pick the music.wait, i think i want to rephrase that. luckily, generally speaking, i pick the music, since i'm the man.better

My Special Lady Friend is a Republican, and has a cross tattooed on her lower back. She instituted a "NO DISCUSSING POLITICS" rule, and I countered with a "NO DISCUSSING RELIGION" rule.
