Here's what I feel should be a common opinion but it is not.I like good music so I really hate hate hate country music. It's not like my indifference to pop hip hop like JayZ or Kanye. You know, take it or leave it. It's an actual hurt my brain type hate that motivates me to remove myself from it's presence. I like bluegrass, swing and for some reason, older country doesn't make me want to destroy speakers. But pop country music, jesus fuck do I ever HATE that shit!

It's probably pretty common actually, especially among certain demographics.

ok so I'll give you a hint of what I have so far: badbadnotgood's bbng2, killer mike's r.a.p. music, alabama shakes' joint, that dr. john thing (better nate than lever huh tim?), and death grips (though I don't know where I heard of this or have any idea what it is). also the lesser known tribe called quest albums and the latest band of horses. now give me 5 more.

The new Clams Casino (and his first album from last year, if you haven't heard it), and the new album from Ab-Soul. That's 2 or 3. Also the new album from Hauschka is cool, but is pretty minimalist - not really road trip music. Recommended though.Clams released his new album for free here: https://twitter.com/...749569607696387

eh, I got that first clams casino and didn't really care for it on the first listen through. tell you what, I'll give it another shot on the way down, and if I like it that time, I'll get the new one. I don't know what ab-soul is.

ok, badbadnot good is sosososogood. that was lame. but still, it's really really good. killer mike sucks. didn't get to the alabama shakes. dr. john's is really good too (you happy now tim?), death grips is stupid and I'm not sure why I downloaded that in the first place, didn't get to the tribe, and the latest band of horses sounds like the eagles. that's my report.
