you are still annoyed enough to be posting about it, so he got you thinking about it, which means that you are not thinking about playing the next hand.

I played .10/.20 cent heads up hold em yesterday against this guy who's strategy consisted of betting top pair or better, and calling down with any pair the whole way. Never raising preflop, never folding preflop. After a flush over flush and a full house over full house (both of which he won), he told me that he's going to stop playing out of pity for me; that he's sorry that he happens to be so much better. :D

I make loose flop calls, sometimes (for one or even two bets, depending on pot size/action). I absolutely love it when I'm playing A4 sooooted, my 4 pairs up on the flop and the board contains the BD flush draw, and the BD flush draw ends up coming through for me. "Keep chasing, fish!" "Fukkin lucksack!" "Stay at my table, buddy!"Always respond with this: "I just new my cards would hit this time." I guarantee you will see many big pots with your big hands later in the session. Tilting the professional internet chatterboxes and making them think you are a fish is +EV.

What really sucks about these kind of people...They will suck out on you taking your buy in...then leave the table and log off..sigh...if you are gonna play like a dumbass, at least have the decency to pay me back when you inevitably donk it all back...And to the guy who say she likes to make calls with bottom pair and backdoor flush draws to try and suck out...Let me know what your stats say in a year or so about how well that move pays off? I don't really understand your line of thinking..not really trying to be a dick..just really dont get it.

reread your post, i guess i can see your point sorta..in regards to making a champion suck out...people are more apt to push you around when you have monster hands. I guess it could work both ways thoug, you may get pushed around holding the best hand, and in turn get sucked out on for a large pot.

sometimes players make the mistake of presuming their opponent knows they have, say, an over pair, or a set... when in fact, they don't know what you have. They might think their over card is a two pair out. Just because you lose to say runner runner flush, doesn't mean your opponent was drawing to 1.5 outs, in his mind.sincerely,mr obvious

Very true..and that is how you and i make money playing poker "ideally"What i fail to undersand is how you could call me a donk for trying to get you to over bet your pair of 7's with a 10 kicker, while holding the nut hand till the river. Id say i got you to make 2 huge mistakes, investing almost your entire stack in a hand in which you had a very slim chance of winning, that seem's like a GOOD play, and a simple NH would have sufficed, once luck decided you needed to have some money...The point of the story is people, mostly kids that have no business playing cards anyway, feel this huge ego rush when they are behind the PC. when they win what ammounts to a weeks allowance for them in one hand, they feel the need to act dominate, and make themselves feel better for the few minutes (im guessing because it is a rare occurance) till they blow it all back to the next person who gets them in this situation, and they get laughed at again for playing loosing poker.

I play limit, and only make loose calls in big pots. I wouldn't make crazy calls like that in no-limit.
