theredpill99 0
I used incorrect english to fit the title in just so you know.Anyway, those miners were reported to have written letters to their families saying, "we're ok....we're just going to sleep. We aren't suffering. "Do you think you would write that or be able to handle a situation like that? I think if I was down in that mine, I would be flipping out big time. I would be breathing hard and would probably have a major panic attack and become claustrophobic. I would probably start coughing uncontrollably over and over again. But maybe after all that way over, maybe I would just eventually accept my fate. I don't know. I guess once you are deprived of oxygen for a while, you become euphoric and accept your fate....at least that is what Tyler Durden says. Some are saying that the older miners realized that they were going to die so they all gave their oxygen tanks to the younger guy and that is why he lived. If that is true, then that is seriously messed up and if that guy remembers everything from down there, he's going to have some serious guilt for the rest of his life. I'd like to say that I'd keep a level head, but until actually in a life or death situation, there's no way to know for sure.
dreamcaster 0
Tyler said the oxygen makes you high and you accept your fate. That's why the pictures all have smiling faces on them.
