MapleLeafs 142
Is anyone planning on seeing this in the near future? Just be prepared for what you're going to see when you do check it out. Tons of gore and violence. Tarentino takes the genre to the next level.

LongLiveYorke 38
Tarantino didn't direct Hostel. It was written and directed by Eli Roth (who also directed Cabin Fever). Tarintino was only the executive producer.
speedz99 145
I don't understand why someone would pay $10 to watch people being tortured.
MapleLeafs 142
I don't understand why someone would pay $10 to watch people being tortured.Shock value, I suppose. I won't be seeing it in the theatre. I may rent it, but even that may not happen. I'd spend most of the time watching my lap.
turd ferguson 1
I don't understand why someone would pay $10 to watch people being tortured.I agree. It looks pretty disgusting. I'm a fan of horror movies, but this just seems repulsing.

GoCryWolfe 0
Im going as well to see it tommorrow. Looks good as hell. Saw the first preview for it while I went to see Syriana (I hated that movie, even though I was so pumped and looking forward to seeing it. The slowest storyline I have ever witnessed. ) The only good of seeing that movie was seein the preview to this, a new Sam Jackson movie with Juianne Moore, and a new Harrison Ford movie that looks tight as hell. Erik67 0
It looks lame. The previews didn't seem like it was a QT movie and longliveyork confirmed it. David Carradine said it best, " QT movies are not about violence, they are about the mindset of violent people."This movie just doesn't comminicate that

nell789 0
I think I may rent it, just to see if it's actually as scary as people say...btw, is there an official ruling on whether or not saw 2 is any good? I really like the original, but haven't seen 2 yet.

I really like the original, but haven't seen 2 yet.saw 2, IMO, is not QUITE as good, there isn't QUITE as much thought put into it, i don't think, but I still liked it a lot. I LOVED the first one, and I liked the second one a lot too, but not quite as much. Definitely got to see it though if you saw the first...storyline gets interesting. CrackofmyACE_FTP 0
I just got out of "Hostel"....almost puked a couple times... good stuff. I'd say it was gorier than Saw.... and at the time I didn't think anyone could make a creepier/more disturbing movie than that one. Hostel is definetly not for the meek... but if you like seeing limbs get choppped off and lots of T&A its for you.
