Say you are playing NL on Stars or FCP and the board is the nutsbut for some reason an ass goes all in causing the whole table to calldoes the rake get huge or is it refunded in split pots at some point?

there is a cap to the amount of rake that can be taken per hand at each limit.Usually, the cap is like $2 or $3 for the lower-limits but it depends. EDIT: At higher stakes, I'm sure the cap is higher, but I wouldn't know, as I've never played them.House would win in your example though

Funny thing is, supposing that the pot just consisted of the blinds before the all-in and you were last to call while closing action, it'd probably be preferable to fold the nuts. :!:

I saw this the other day. 4 people in the pot. Broadway on the board, no flush possible. UTG raises, I call, MP FOLDS, B pushes all-in. I told B he was just pumping the rake but we all profited a little because of MP's idiocy.
