aim786 0
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is BB with J:diamond:, Q:diamond:. UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.Flop: (10 SB) 5:heart:, 5:diamond:, K:diamond: (5 players)SB bets, UTG folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, SB calls.Turn: (9 BB) 6:spade: (4 players)SB checks, Hero checks, MP2 bets, MP3 calls, SB calls, Hero calls.River: (13 BB) 6:diamond: (4 players)SB checks, Hero checks, MP2 bets, MP3 calls, SB folds, Hero calls.Final Pot: 16 BBReads: SB and MP2 are fish, MP3 is a tight passive playerAfter my initial raise on the flop, I'm somewhat worried after being called by 3 players that there is a 5 out there. Luckily for me, MP2 takes over the betting on 4th street, but he can be doing this with literally anything. Since there isn't heavy action on the turn, I assume my flush is good and no 5 is out there. So, good/bad overcall on the river?
CoranMoran 0
You are ahead of MP3 at showdown. He only called the river, so he does not have a boat. You are more worried about MP2 who woke up on the turn.Because of your read on MP2, I call this river.--cnm
Actuary 3
I'm really tempted to bet/fold the riverUnless villan(s) is tricky, we can get value from scared Kings and worse flushes.I'm concerned river gets checked thru..and when it doesn't, I'm not so happy with my hand.c/c > c/f.I wonder how repleis change if you cut your post off at your river check ?**** read replies ****Fish are generally passive, but maybe you mean "retarded"I think I like bet/fold..interested in more opinions. pokerkid 0
this is less significant but I would just call the flop.
aim786 0
this is less significant but I would just call the flop.SB can be autobetting anything here, and this gives me the perfect oppurtunity to protect my hand in the pot. Also, I want people with hands like middle pair to fold, since the board is already paired. I don't want to catch my flush and have someone show me a hidden full house, or in this case show me something like 67 on the river.
Emptyeye 0
What are SB's stats? You mentioned he's a "fish", but is he even aware of the concept of a continuation bet? In other words, are you SURE he could actually be betting there with anything?MP2 wakes up out of nowhere, which tells me he probably has at least a 6, more likely something like K6, maybe a 56 (Although I don't know why he wouldn't go nuts on the flop at that point). Looks good as played.

Looks good as played. At the microlimits, I think almost all fish will bet AK on the flop (assuming they raised preflop) even if they miss against 4-5 opponents.Likewise, I don't think MP2 "wakes up out of nowhere", I think he is just betting because the SB and I show weakness on the turn. He is a fish, and he has been getting rather lucky at the table, so he could very well be bluffing.I think the hand basically comes down to not folding a hand that has a chance to win on the river for one bet, especially since noone outside of MP2 has shown any aggression, and because he can be holding many possible hands, I have to call. Briguy 0
MP2 called two cold on the flop, and then led facing no aggression on the turn. He either has a slowplayed 5 or a timid K. I'm guessing 50/50 on each holding, despite card distribution, which makes the river a fairly easy bet/fold, especially if you plan on overcalling anyway. Nobody's raising without the full house, so it's a pretty safe line.
