Wingmaster05 0
i like flop a lotRiver: I c/c.this line is good. Always try to think what betting is actually getting accomplished. here is a good example. In this case, we aren't folding any better hands (once he calls the turn, no way). eg 77 is still calling at the river. Usually, however, 77 will check behind because he is unsure of your play and just wants the hand to end. Weaker hands arent' calling through the river (33...let's hope not). high cards will fold if they in fact called down to the end. Curiously enough, our check on the river will induce a bluff from AK AQ etc a decent amount of the time. so At this point we are just trying to minimize the damage if we are in fact behind. Yet by checking we sometimes get a poor hand to try and steal on our weakness. C/C is definitely great here....Not sure why i wrote so much. I like keeping things simple. Don Giovanni 0
i like the play. i guess youre putting him on overcards. he certainly wouldve 3 bet you if he had an overpair on the flop. plus you have some outs that can bail you out if you are behind. another thing to think about is if he has AQ or something like that and hits an ace on the turn and pays off your 2 pair big time. i check/call the river becuase you are worried about him stiking around with something like pocket 8s, and you can sometimes induce a bluff.
