It doesn't take much. Start off small. After I blew away a few hundred learning how to play the game, and playing way over my head, I developed a good strategy and stuck to my plan. I deposited $30 and started at the micro limits. Once my bankroll could afford me to move up, I did. This has been a few years ago and now I consistently make a good bit each month playing within my bankroll.I guess my advice is this . . . don't think that you will start cashing out tons of money right off the bat . . . it won't happen. Real money is totally different than play money. Start off at the micro limits and play the ABC's of poker. Do not chase 2 outers and if your hand is beat get out. If you have a good hand bet it . . . etc, etc. Don't get tricky and bluff too much because others will chase at these limits - SO LET THEM CHASE. If you are playing good solid poker you will come out ahead in the long run. Then once your bankroll is built up you can enjoy "bringing home the bacon"!!GOOD LUCK!
I love . . . er . . . I mean hate . . . I mean love this game!
