ok, ill give you two Barry Sanders, definately the greatest RB everbut you can't deny Reg Bush's talent. He has the potential to be right up there with B Sanders and the other top notch backs assuming he stays healthy or doesn't lose his mind (i.e. Ricky Williams)and yeah, I'm from Hawaii, what about itwanna fight?

Is there a precedent for one team getting consecutive number 1 picks?I think that's the kind of thing Tagliabue wouldn't allow anyway. In his everlasting quest for eternal parity.

Bush is an amazing talent, but that's it right now. Let's not start sucking each other off just quite yet. I'll still take all these guys above Bush....Sanders, Peyton, Sayers, Brown, Simpson, Dickerson, hell Bush isn't even in the top 20 as far as I'm concerned. Certainly one of the most hyped talents in quite a while. I don't remember the last time a guy generated this amount of buzz in a positive manner. Hmmmmmm, I'll have to think about this one.

Well, I guess we'll see if he can live up to the hype heaped on him when he is wearing a Texans jersey next year. We really don't need a running back though. The offensive line needs a drastic makeover.

Running back is one of the positions where talent in college transfers pretty quickly to talent in the NFL. There's always at least one 1000 yd. rookie rusher.Plus, when in doubt, always go for athleticisim and the things that can't be coached.... and he certainly has enough of that.I'd be terrified of his O-line though, you're right.

The next bad thing that happend is they slipped all the way to 7th in the draft... Saints and Texans are the big winners

And even if the 9ers lost, they would have most likely got the 3rd pick after the Saints (#1) and the Texans (#2) because of the stregth of schedule tie breakers. 9ers are my team too, but they weren't going to get the #1 pick. I hope the T from Virginia somehow falls to them. They already have a 1st yr QB and a 1st yr RB... I think they would have traded down if they got the first pick... they would have got a lot from a trade giving a team Bush.

So who do you think the 49ers can pick up at the #7 spot, no QB, no RB, who then? maybe some WR'sIm thinking DB's and defense now, although I haven't heard of any DB's or safeties being really hyped up, but then again, I haven't really followed that much this season . How do you think that linebacker from Ohio St. would fit in, Hawk is it?

The Texans could attempt to recreate the same scenario Bush had at USC, Davis is a pretty stout back, and we still don't know if Bush can handle a full workload a Bush/Davis tandem might not be a bad thing...it'll sell tickets at least.

I don't think Davis will enjoy that too much. A lot of teams out there in need of a RB, maybe they can get a lineman for him...

I would trade him for a good O-lineman perhaps.
