Guest Zach6668
Any read on BB? What is his AF? Will be raise AK here? What is his PFR percentage? If it is like 5, then you can probably give him credit for a very strong hand... etc, etc... I need reads!I most likely call, fold turn UI, but I would need reads to be certain.Zach
screech 0
3-betting seems pretty pointless.I'd call, and fold to any paint turn card. I trust no one. In a ring game it may be best to call and fold the turn UI.
Shimmering Wang 1
I'm 3-betting, and here's why.About 1/3 of the deck helps us on the turn. I think there are 15 good cards in the deck that can fall on the turn. If one of those cards doesn't come, I'll just check behind and see a river, try and spike a 6 outer. If one of those good cards DOES come, let's go ahead and semibluff.Wang

Anyway, I don't think this is a raise. I don't see BB leading here with overs often enough to make a 3-bet good. We have position, I'd rather let him bluff off his chips when he's behind than pay through the nose when he's ahead.

Considering I didn't even see BB 3-bet preflop, my advice is worthless. If the BB hadn't 3-bet preflop, I think this would be a clear 3-bet.As is, it's much closer. I think knocking SB off the hand might prove worthwhile, but who knows. We're seeing a river most of the time with this hand, I think. It's going to be tough to fold this turn UI.Wang
Mattnxtc 0
this hand really plays like he has overs so a 3 bet may not be a bad decision. It may allow you to take a free card on teh turn depending on what hits the turn. i think if u call its more interesting on what u do if a non face card hits the turn
screech 0
If the BB hadn't 3-bet preflop, I think this would be a clear 3-bet.I think you're right. We have position here, so we don't have to worry about giving free cards. Also, a 3-bet here still gives sb good odds. Another thing to consider is that if we raise this turn, we commit ourselves to calling a 3-bet. Also, Even though sb is getting the correct odds to draw, he may fear a reraise from bb or misinterpret teh strength of our hand and fold.
brian67 0
I would say that it's slightly more likely for him to have an overpair than two overs. I say call and reevaluate on the turn.

pokerfeeva 0
If I were sat with a pair/gutshot draw hand, verses two unknowns in a large action pot, I would call the raise. I would only three bet this flop if I had a reason (a read of some kind). Then on the turn, I would reassess the board, the action and the pot size then decide what to do from there. zimmer4141 0
Honestly I call and fold the turn UI. I would play this more aggressively had the SB not called pf. However, the BB won't 3-bet pf with a wide range because he's not going to thin the field. The only hand I see him having that he 3-bets pf then c/r the flop that we beat is 66 or A7. He likely flopped a set, has an overpair, or a 9. Call and fold UI.

Button raises are suspect, and when the SB cold calls and doesn't raise, it either means he sucks or is weak.Wang
