Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is SB with Q:heart:, A:heart:. 1 fold, BB calls, MP1 calls, Button calls.Flop: (8 SB) 2:heart:, 3:heart:, K:heart: (4 players)Hero bets, MP1 folds, Button calls, Hero calls.Turn: (7 BB) T:diamond: (3 players)Hero checks, BB bets, BB calls.River: (16 BB) 6:diamond: (2 players)Hero bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 24 BBThis line ok?, I was pretty certain that BB was going to bet the turn for me and I wanted to take button along for the ride,I did get 1 more big bet out of the button I figgured if I bet the turn and BB raises I would lose the button. He couldnt of had much cause button was real loose.I guess BB had too much to drink on this hand, he caps the river after I had c/r and capped the turn, oh well... Happy New Year to me :-)

Depends on my mood, but against most players I think we make an extra .5BB by calling the flop raise and raising the turn (Presuming our opponent calls down from there). Against this guy, 3-betting may well have been the better option, but it's hard to know that as the hand is going on. :club:

This line ok
Could be a little better. Could be a lot worse.I 3-bet the flop. He won't give you credit for a flush. And if he has a fd, he'll pay you off now, not later.
I think by not 3 betting the flop bb doesnt give me credit for a made flush here, he hit 2-pair on the turn and musta thought his hand was good, or maybe he had too many new years eve spirits, (or he coulda been a total donk) who knowsI think I extracted the max on this hand, I didnt want him to shut down and just calling me down for 2 big bets, I thought he had a lower made flush by the way he played it.

Villain also has the flush, although i don't think either play makes more money. Good players will immediately notice something wrong with betting the flop, calling and check raising the expensive street on a 3 heart flop. Fortunately this guy isn't a solid player.
