pokerplayer24 0
UTG will often have overs so dont mind you betting it all the way.On the river i'd much rather bet then check/call it.

Wingmaster05 0
Your...river...line is good. i hope you got lucky and won this hand.hmm, read replies:why is betting this turn good? why is limping UTG good?
Wingmaster05 0
On the river i'd much rather bet then check/call it.What's the point of betting this river?
Sysvr4 0
I raise this PF.Since you didn't, I think your line is pretty good. He's not calling with a missed draw on the river and about the only alternative is a hand that beats yours. Check/call is good there I think.Jeff
Mattnxtc 0
i think raising or callin preflop is close
pokerkid 0
I think the way you played it was pretty standard actually.Make it 88 or 99 and i raise UTG, but 77 is close between raising and calling. Flop bet is fine, turn bet is good, and most things that calls you on the river have you beat. Ocassionally AK might call u on the river, but not nearly enough to make it profitable I don't think. hotbacon 0
Why are we betting this flop in a tiny pot with 2 people behind us?

screech 0
Why are we betting this flop in a tiny pot with 2 people behind us?1) We may have the best hand2) If we don't have the best hand, we may have up to 6 outs. Those outs become a lot cleaner if we get lone diamonds or 6x hands to fold. I lost a few pots the other day because I simply wasn't aggressive in spots like this. I've learned my lesson. Small pot, draw heavy, OOP, third pair. I think i usually let this alone, but that's me.
