Damn. Just a little pinch in my step here. I think I need to not see hind-sight. I was playing a 2-4 and I pick up 44 from around back with 3 callers. Flop comes up A-J-something. Anyways guy 1 checks number 2 bets, 3 calls, and I fold, thinking 4's are worthless, all three cards are overs. Now that I think about it though I was still getting 7-1 on my call, but I'm only 10-1 to hit a set, so I let it go. Turn comes 4, river A. So board gives me the boat, and trip aces takes the pot. Now, I know I wasn't getting the correct pot odds to make the call, but with two more behind me I would have gotten 9-1 implied odds, making my hand not too bad to call for one more card. How many of you would call the bet on the flop? I realize it wasn't too scary.I think I just thought too fast and took the four player pot too seriously. Whatever just felt like whining about a bad play
. You all criticize it now please.

Count me as a folder. My theory in the low limits is if there is an ace on the flop and you don't have one, get the hell out. All the fish play Ax and someone has it. Calling flop bets with underpairs in unraised pots is just like throwing money away. If it was capped before the flop, take one off.

Just noticed this too. You are 10-1 to hit a set on the turn? 2 fours left out of 47 unseen cards is 22.5 to 1. You're not seriously calling the turn too if you miss, are you?

That flop would definitly make me fold to a check-bet-call, i'm not tossing any more money in that pot praying for my 2 outs, not always, but you have to assume someone hit one of the 3 overs.
