A little brief synopsys on my playstyle, and how often I play.I usually play micro limits on PS, I play to have fun, and usually end up having to much and losing my bankroll on a string of moronic decisions, wether playing a $30 s-n-g with a $50 bankroll, or similar things that sounded good at the time. I usually deposit about $100 every other month or so. I see my poker game as a game, I have fun, the longer my deposit lasts the better. I figure I'd dump $100 at a cantina, so instead of going out, I play (married btw).Which brings us to last night, I was playing on Full Tilt, mainly so I could learn the game of Razz, when the table broke up. I was trying to stay within my means of my $100 bankroll, and took a beating on the learning curve, and was down about $20. I check the S-n-G's since it was about 5am cst and no tables were going with my limit range. There was Jennifer Harman at a $10 STT. Hrmm, that would be roughly 1/8 of my bankroll, but what the hell. The Tourney quickly filled up and off we went. For the first few levels I played tighter than the 1970's NBA shorts, in fear of being the jackass who makes the ignorant call and gets cleaned out. Jennifer was great, she chatted, joked around, and from what I have seen watching some of the other pros play, was much more relaxed, it seemed she enjoyed being there, versus logging time in before she could go do something else. I was able to get some chips when my Q10 turned into a straight. Jennifer then got crippled when hshe ran into pocket Q's, then went all in, cause it was getting damn early in the morning. I made a few moves basically when I had the nuts or close to it, to get the stack respectable. Then the wheels came off, I started calling everything down, making calls on bluffs, completely ignorant to the fact my hand couldn't even beat the bluff. We were down to 4, and I decided the best bet was to stay out of most the pots, protect the blinds when needed, but thats about it. Let the other players take each other out. Then there were 2. I had managed about an 8:5 chip lead, and went into too tight mode, letting him whittle me down to where we were almost even. My Q10 this time turned into a boat and that sealed it.My $10 turned into $45. Have no fear, I'm sure I'll get bored again and lose it entering some tourney I shouldn't, but hell, I placed 1st in a tourney against Jennifer Harman (now remember, it wasn't at 4am vegas time, it wasn't for a measly 10 bucks, and most importantly try to forget the fact we were never in the same pot, please forget my lack of stones for avoiding it at all costs). :-)
a decent online win
