Both call. hmmmm.I put one on a Q (ie QJ or KQ) and the other on a draw. But again, no reads so I'm just going by the cold calls.Pot is $180 going to the turnTurn is the 7d nutting me up.I bet $80, both call. What should my line here be? Check raise? Bigger bet? I dont really want to lose either one of them.River is a Q.Hero?

Check/raise to 200-250 depending on the size of their bet.

Ugh. Likely you still have the best hand, but, I probably check/call.

Probably call.Doesn't seem to have played it like, Top two, or otherwise. If he has a boat, I likely pay him off. If not, I take it down.More times than not he just tripped up, not filled up, you know?

I'd say he has the boat. He probably flopped a set. I'd probably still pay him off.So the problem with me playing J9o from UTG in my thread was limping with it?

Yeah, I have no problem raising J9o utg in a short handed table.My goal playing short handed is to take control of the table and be the aggressor. I like 109s quite a lot more than J9o however.Anyway, I called the all in and he showed me 6's full. Slow playing pr.ick.I stack him if that Q doesnt come off.

He called the raise pre-flop and then called the pot-sized bet on the flop. He could have given you credit for QQ and just been trying to lose the minimum. Since he had position, he was going to call it down. When the second Q came on the river, I would've been thinking if you have quads, you can have it. When you bet the pot on the draw, the downside is you likely won't get raised by a tight player when they are actually very strong. They just want to get to showdown.

Ok. I've kind of changed my strategy to do much more playing after the flop where I feel I have a significant advantage over most players. Too many players will re-raise with too many hands pre-flop and I don't want to play J9o against a re-raise.
