Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, the Thieves lost the red hot Keith Tkachuik for 4-6 weeks who has been a huge help in the absense of Simon Gagne and Alexei Kovalev. Well that's the bad news, but the good news is that Kovalev is expected to play on Tuesday while Gagne is looking to return by Thursday! That will help immensely in the depth department in what promises to be an important stretch of games with 4 games in 4 nights. It's a tough schedule as the team will face off against the powerful Dawgs and Swackers of the Tiger Williams Conference. They'll round out the week in inter-conference play with a couple of easier games against the Greaseballs and Ingmem. Coming into this week the team is 20-20-0 and remain 4 points out of a playoff spot. The team hopes to split with the Dawgs and Swackers and look to scoop the Greaseballs and Ingmen to end the week at 23-21-0.
