Ok gang got a question about when it's appropriate to move up limits. Since the standard bankroll is 300xbb, and I currently play $1/2, then must I wait until I've built my bankroll to $1200 before I can move up to $2/4? Or if I feel that I'm beating the current limit I'm at should I move up before having the correct bankroll? Thanks guys.

Wait untill you have the bankroll.100BB downswings happen. It's pretty annoying when they happen when you move up to a new limit with a short bankroll.
I've never played poker.

I'd wait until the $1000 mark. If your winning at that level stay and build the roll.

It's your choice whether to wait until you have the full bankroll, or try taking shots at the game. If you take shots at it, you might wait until you have 350 or 400 BB at the lower level before playing at the higher level. You drop back down if you approach the 300 BB level, but it is possible that you'll make your new bankroll before you go broke. Personally, I find that taking shots at a larger game is obnoxious because if you're only investing 50 or 100 BB, the odds of having to drop back down to the old limit may be better than 50%. I find that having to drop down in limits makes a losing streak that much more painful.
