Quick question...You wrote..."Hand #7: I raised to 2500 with Kc Jc from middle position, and the SB called. The flop, 8-7-3. He checked, I checked. The turn was a Q, he checked, and I checked. The river went check-check also, and he won with 9-9.If the flop had been, say A-Q-x or if any other paint card came, and he checked, what would you have done? And why not bet out a feeler when the Q turned?Best..

I was up against a tricky player, Tim Phan, and knew that he wasn't going to fold on the turn. If he had nothing, he would have bet the Queen. When he checked, I felt as though he checked so that he could call me down in a smaller pot.

I read the log of the blog and notice you raised the same amount everytime why not check or call half? The Harrington book out has you as a type of player that does that, I think the raises with such a small stack are to high and telling why not save half of those leads for a couple bigger moves and then go for broke rather then end up moving to late.

The raise I made was very small. The blinds were $400-$800 with a $100 ante so I was risking $2200 to win $2100.

Thanks man, that your play Aey? I really regret you losing but what's to do at least it wasn't to many "donks", that radio show will feed me plenty the more I hear of the big game the higher I climb.
