I'm looking at picking up a poker book or two soon to read during the winter and am wondering what you guys consider the best poker books. My list currently is:Championship No Limit & Pot Limit Hold 'Em (Championship Series) by Tom McEvoy, T.J. CloutierDoyle Brunson's Super System by Doyle BrunsonCaro's Book of Poker Tells by Mike Caro Your input is appreciated, thanks.

If you have been playing for awhile now i would recommend "Theory of Poker" by David Sklansky. If you have been able and to read and put to use everything in the other books on your list it will help you tremendously. If your still pretty new to the game it may be over your head. I read it when I first started playing poker and it made no sense to me what-so-ever. It wasn't until I'd been playing for a year and I re-read it that it truly helped my game.

T.J. is a must for playing big bet poker i.e. PL or NL but I agree that TTOP by Skalanksy will put a good player into that great area.

I am a huge fan of Sklansky. I would add his (and Mason Malmuth's)Hold 'em Poker for Advanced Players to anyone's list. It can be a lot to digest... I've read it at least 4 times cover to cover and still go back to check things quite frequently.I also liked Phil Gordon's book. It's not technical at all, but gives a nice overview of a lot of topics.Really looking fwd to Action Dan's book.

I'm a big fan Sklansky too.Hold 'em PokerHold 'em Poker for Advanced PlayersTournament Poker for Advanced PlayersThe Theory of PokerSmall Stakes Hold 'emAll are good. I would also highly recommend "Play Poker like the Pros" by Phil Hellmuth. The section on Limit Hold 'em was quite enlightning.
