GWCGWC 83
I'm gonna try to post this HH from FCPBison's hand converter isn't working for me.LHE $1/2$ 10max full tablerake post sb .50tschock post bb 1roco calls 1sweet raises to 2foldfoldhero has (10D,10C) re-raises to 3foldfoldfoldfoldfoldroco calls sweet calls10.5sbflop is (10H,2H,QS)roco bets 1, sweet raises to 2, hero calls 2, roco re-raises to 3, sweet calls, hero caps at 4, roco calls, sweet calls11BBturn is (10H,2H, QS,7C)roco bets 2, sweet raises to 4, hero re-raises to 6, roco calls, sweet calls20BBriver is (10H,2H,Qs,7C,KH)roco checks, sweet checks, hero checksThoughts:preflop, I raise for value and to hopefully gain position.flop, I was going to see what kind of action, but I had lots of action so I capped itturn, didn't really scare me so I wanted to build the potriver, this is what I have a question about.Should I bet this river, with the flush getting there or a set of kings counterfitting my set? Not really worried about a str8 given the betting.
Emptyeye 0
I fire at the river personally. Why did you call/cap the turn? Very strange. But anyway, the action here doesn't indicate flush draw to me from either player. I'd think a KK would cap preflop. I think you're good enough times to value bet the river here. If you get raised, wince and call--you only need to be good a miniscule percentage of the time to profit.
pokerplayer24 0
Bet the river. Its unlikely a flush is checking this to you.
GWCGWC 83
I call/cap the flop to see what kind of action I was getting. When I realized both players were In Like Flynn, I went ahead and capped it.I just wanted to make sure I should bet the river. I decided I missed a bet when I just checked and wanted to make sure.I'm so weak.
Actuary 3
Bet/call river.
screech 0
The set of kings is highly unlikely. The flush may be out, but you're set will hold up more than enough to bet for value.
DrawingDeadInDM 0
The set of kings is highly unlikely. The flush may be out, but you're set will hold up more than enough to bet for value.I agree. I think you might be surprised how many times you see this same from a fish overplaying A10.I've seen/know plenty of players who make this play with AK, because, "AK's the third best starting hand after Aces and Kings".
