I've done well on Prima but the suckouts on party 6-max are unreal. I'm not sure if I should fight through it or go back to playing full ring for now. I'd just finally put together the roll to play 1/2 until this latest 70BB downswing. This hand I slow played like a mofo figuring my hand was virtually unbeatable. Should I be playing these fast? On the flop I was planning to c/r a bet from my left and c/c a late position bet trying to build the pot. Fill up on the turn and try for the c/r again which works this time. Just call the river raise or 3-bet ok?

I have a couple rules:- never slowplay trips- only consider slowplaying a set when there's no flush drawNow a check/raise isn't exactly slowplay but I think the kicker is that with no pf raise you can't count on someone to bet so that you can c/r.At this point I was suffering from "I'm down 20BB and gonna make it all back on this hand".Oh well, if I learn my lesson ....

I lead the flop too, if only because the way the game is now, there's almost some deception value in hitting a big hand and betting it, strange as that sounds. But yeah, I've found that slowplaying in general invariably leads to trouble. As you saw here, there was no guarantee someone would bet, and this led to everyone getting a free turn card. As it happened, the turn helped you, but I think it's a scare card about as often as not here. Especially with two cards to come, I want to charge draws the maximum.
