ya a huge scam. If you can't afford to put $50 on the website then you prolly shouldn't be playing poker as it is. Being a protege to a guy like DN is a great opportunity that if you can't afford to take part thats too bad. But DN isn't going to just take anyone off the street. You have to earn it.

It's not a SCAM, it's called a PROMOTION. As nice a guy as daniel seems to be, the whole protege thing is indeed, intended TO GET PEOPLE TO PLAY ON THE SITE!McDonald's Monopoly...They want you to buy more big macs. Pepsi's Billion Dollar giveaway?...A clever ploy to sell caffeinated, watered down, carmel colored corn syrup. (EDIT: I forgot to mention "carbonated")Remember when Coke put Cash IN THE CANS?... They wanted u to buy more coke. It's not a scam, it's Marketing.

I totally just got scammed by a vending machine.
Ya I put .75 in a vending machine and tried to get a little bag of doritos. The bag got stuck and when I went to get change to get another one there was a guy eatting a bag of doritos and had an unopened one sticking out of his pocket.I'm not sue'n him and Dorito's for that scam, and I'm gonna be a bazillionare.

I got scammed today, but decided I deserved it. I went to the carwash and gave the guy a $20 for a $15 carwash. But he gave me $7 change. I almost corrected him but didn't. After the carwash I was going to vaccuum out my car, etc. So I put a $5 in the change machine and it took it but never gave me a single quarter.So I put in the last $3 I had and it changed that, no problem.The moral of the story? Don't f.uck with karma...

I just read the Protege rules right now for the first time and it seems to me that there is more than one way to qualify for free unless i'm mistaken? e.g. Red Hot Poker, Posting on forums (hence this post hehe).

Won't work to try to boost your post counts now. That had to be done by Nov. 20th 2005 and have at least 20 posts by then. Read Seat# 2: FCP Poker forum junkies.
