6 max, going for another semi-bluff, or is mhg?

Semi-bluffs OOP against loose opponents are usually no good. unless you've seen this guy bluff into large fields/lay down hands to turn raises, I think this bet is just spewing.In position, it's ok. If you don't get a fold on the turn, you'll at least get a free sd.

42/1 indicates some decent aggression. He might be willing to bet a 7 on the flop. Problem is, hands like that you don't mind calling you down. I don't see an ace folding here. I think the best you can hope for is getting 99 to fold. We probably would have heard from TT+ preflop, so we're not folding those.Basically, the hands you want to fold aren't folding, and the hands you don't mind staying in aren't staying. I don't think you'd get a better hand to fold with an ace and two cards < your pair. That said, for some reason I strangely like your raise...
