We're down to the final table and 6-handed in a 100 person MTT.Villain has been very TAG, he's only shown down JJ, AK, and QQ at the final table, and might be playing a little too tight for the situation.blinds are 600/1200 with a 75 ante, I have 20k in chips, villain has slightly more. I have AJo in UTG+1, and make it 3600, Villain moves all in from the CO, it folds back to you.....There are no shortstacks so waiting to move ahead in money isn't worth it. The chip leader only has about 34k, so the field is pretty even at this point.6th: $50 5th: $65 4th: $85 3rd: 120 2nd: 210 1st: 320Fold or call?

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

What had been your table image up until that point? Had you raised and folded to re-raises often? Tight like the villain? That would affect how I viewed his re-raise. If you had been active, he might be making a move on you with a weaker ace, or possibly KQ.Without that information, I'd have to think that your best case scenario would be a coin flip vs TT or lower. Making a move with AT doesn't seem to fit the player as you described. Folding is the smart/safe play, especially if you thought you had any significant skill advantage over the remaining players. You'd be left with a little over 16k, which is still one double up away from the chip lead (or so).Heh, looking at the pay outs though, I might be willing to gamble. Like you said, there really is no point trying to creep up the ladder.Patrick

eh. I like folding here. Even though villain is playing tight, he may be aware of it and using his image to put a play on you. I fold and look to make a stand or steal some blinds after the blinds have passed me.

Fold. The only hands I see him making this move with that don't dominate you are TT-77. I doubt he's making this with a hand like A10 or KQ.

My image had been pretty loose, and stealing a lot of blinds at the final table. I usually did have real hands, and whenever someone stood up to me, I never had worse than AQ, and the other times I had AK and QQ. The whole table seemed pretty sheepish about standing up to me.
