If i call here I only have $2.35 left and the straight will get that anyway in the next 2 betting rounds. So whats the play here? Chief 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Share Posted December 1, 2005 you are getting generous pot odds, assuming the opponent will call your push, which he will in all likelihood.you are losing to sets and the flopped straight of course, but he could be doing this with a variety of other hand combinations (top pair, worse two pair, pair and a gutshot...)flopping top two on a rainbow board where only one straight is possible, this is a good situation for you, burn felt getting those chips in.Chief Link to post Share on other sites
