I think I like it - you can probably get button to fold if he doesn't have at least a Q. (AJ and TT seem like likely holdings for button). And if MP1 is the type to always peel on any flop, then you might get him to fold. Plus if either opponent raises, it sucks, but at least you can be pretty sure you have to make the straight to win.

This is good. Seems like button has a pp. He could also have a QJs type hand, but it's a bit more likely he has a pp. Betting is good because you'll get him to throw away the best hand more than half the time, and get HU with the donk who you may have beat.

What's our thinking behind the call on the flop?(I also like the turn play quite a bit)

i think i made a mistake in not betting the flop. I knew he had a pocket pair or a weak jack. By betting I would allow him to raise and protect my hand. But at the time i was tihnking that if he had a jack i would rather check/call and not pay 2 bets to see the turn.im still unsure of the flop play having thought about i tmore.

If I bet, I don't want button raising. My main purpose for betting this flop would be to earn a free card depending on the number of people who came along.

call me weak/tight, but why raise PF? with two players already in and more than likely going atleast 4 handed with one of the blinds in too (if you raise). I don't like going 3 or 4 handed with a mediocre hand that very well may be dominated, even if I have taken control of the hand PF. I'd rather encourage more people in the pot with a decent drawing hand. I don't think a raise is getting anyone but maybe the button to fold a better hand(KJ or better A10 or better), so I doubt you win by spiking a pair, and I see no value in the PF raise. But, you're the one playing 20/40, I'm not.
