I dunno if I'm capable of folding here.He open capped preflop, and bet the flop. You raised, he called. On the turn, he bets out...W/O a read, it's impossible to give you a "hand range" here.I probably call down, expecting to see QQ, AhQh, or AAI dunno, man... gimme something!!Ice

This is a six-max game, so he might be more inclined to cap if it was a blind battle, as it appears this is.His gay-bet could mean that he doesn't want you using a free-card play on him in case you are drawing to the flush. Any competant player would go for a c/r on the turn with a powerful hand like KQ, QQ, or KK, I think, since you've shown aggression the whole way.I'm torn between raising and calling down. If I raise, I probably call a three-bet and call a river bet. If I call, I'd bet the river if he checked, but call if he bet again.I'm pretty sure I'm not folding.

Once again, Iceman misses important things.(sigh) He's not open capping, he's putting a 4th bet in.I still call down, but I'm much MUCH happier about it. I don't think we're ever good enough to risk a 3-bet here. But the turn/river call/call line encourages action from hands that are drawing slim, and saves us $$ when we're getting butcheredSorry,Ice

I probably call down, expecting to see QQ, AhQh, or AAI dunno, man... gimme something!!Ice :-) i didn´t know either.i asked for a hand range because i wanted to see what people with more experience than me would say about the situation. but it´s in fact really player dependant and can´t be assesed generally. i hadn´t seen him go wild with any<thing so i was sure to be up against a premium hand.i figured if i add aq to his possible holdings it´s profitable to call down, if i don´t, i should fold. should :wink: he had queens btw.

If this guy had queens he can't be that good. With the way you played preflop he's got to put you on AA AK KQ KK here the only justification that i can see for not check raising here is he's worried you've already made KKK and doesn't want to get 3 bet. But that is quite the stretch.

yeah, it´s pretty unfoldable. but i don´t think there´s a difference between short- and longhanded play regarding this situation. there´s only the two of us in the hand, so he could be battling for the blinds in a tenhaded game just as well.

definitely unfoldable.read/dependent between a call and a raise there. from my experience at William Hill and Ritz Club, he almost certainly has QQ, KK or AK there, since players generally are straightforward in my experience.still call down of course, but if this is party, i might raise.daniel
