BUT I'M STILL NOT A FAN, YOU HEAR ME!??!??Yea yea yea so I took my son to the Predators/Blues game a few weeks ago and we had a blast.Then last week I won free tickets to the Predators/Kings game on Thanksgiving night and took my wife and had a blast.Today I just got an email from one of the organizations I do volunteer work for who had 2 extra tickets for tonights game between the Predators and the Calgary Flames. I was expecting to get these upper level terrible seats but to my surprise they are nice $120 face value lower bowl seats 6 rows up from the ice so I'm taking my son again tonight and looking forward to it!Go Vokoun!!!!!! Errr I mean Hockey, pffft what a stupid game. :?

My girl just called me a little while ago and said her boss offered her 2 free tickets to the Sabres/Stars game on mid-Dec, so it looks like I'll be seeing my 2nd Sabres game of the season next month!

me and my roomates got tickets to the January 21st and January 23rd games in Ottawa both nites vs the Maple Leafs!! Crazy!!!

i have a few thoughts on this one.firstly, those should be great games biatch. i almost prefer watching leaf/sens games on TV that are in ottawa, since it makes the fact there are more leaf fans than sens fans there all the better.having said that, the sens are so friggin good this year, i don't think they can lose in the playoffs. too good. and if they do, that is amazing. they are as good as the raptors are bad. and that is good/bad.enjoy the games.ajs now officially has the best signature on the forum.dna should go to games that don't feature the predators if he wishes to see great hockey. the preds though are playing good hockey, and he is obviously a huge fan already. anyone who can watch hockey after seeing the blues play has a natural affection for it.my friends and i are planning to head up to new york for a few days over christmas. the leafs are playing the devils on the 31st so we hope to catch that game. other than that though, would people recommend seeing:Sabres, Islanders, Rangers or Devils? I'm thinking in terms of how easy/cheap it is to get tickets, get to the stadium, park, etc.Thanks,Daniel

i've been to both kings/wings games here in LA. both times the intensity for a lot of the game was like the playoffs used to be. these are two good teams going after each other.last night was sick: shanahan v. gleason fight, a penalty shot, and a very nice first NHL game by detroit goalie jimmy howard. i read he's going to get the next start, too.(then, as i was driving home, i starting thinking "i didnt see too much of robert lang in the later parts of the game. he's on my fantasy team--what the hell?" i got home and looked at the box score where he'd played only 6:17 or something. i figured he was hurt, and sure enough today the reports are he hurt his groin. fug.)

my roomate just got tickets for us to watch the Sens play the Caps in March. I get to see Ovechkin play!!

There is a group of 30 or so at my work who are going to the January game in Ottawa to see the Leafs. (The Saturday one) This is the biggest group of delenquints I've ever known, so I politely declined when offered the chance to go. I can see jail time for some that weekend lol.

No way would I ever buy a Jersey, they are expensive.(i did put it on my christmas list though)

Man, u shoulda went!!! Last year me and my roomates went to the Leaf game in Ottawa when they were down 4-0 going into the 3rd period. They scored 4 goals in the 3rd period and scored in overtime to win it. Man during the 2nd intermission, we were all getting reemed by the Ottawa fans, and then after the game, it was just awesome.
